In the Spring of 2008 I was in the most difficult season of my life.
I was dealing with health problems that were out of my control, going to medical appointments on a monthly basis, and talking to doctors that told me they didn’t know the cause of my symptoms or how to fix them. I went from regularly attending university classes and ballroom dance club practices (5-6 days per week) to missing classes and practices because I was in so much pain or exhausted. I could barely walk, let alone dance.
I lived from the neck up, and couldn’t sleep at night. My anxiety was at an all-time high. I was scared I wouldn’t be able to graduate or get a job to support myself. I didn’t want to disappoint my parents, and I was learning who I was (turns out I wasn’t Type A and I didn’t want to be a pharmacist).
I spent countless nights crying because I felt trapped and lost, and being tuned into my body was my lifeline. By paying attention to my body sensations, I anchored myself to my inner wisdom, creativity, pleasure, and personal power and began to navigate life with a quantum state of holistic well-being. My mind, heart, body, energy, and soul were nourished and I began living in the truth that I am worthy.
After I made that shift, I graduated and enrolled in one of the top programs in the U.S. for clinical mental health, despite having a GPA that most graduate schools wouldn’t normally accept. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Music and became a trained therapist by getting my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health from Wake Forest University. Most of my clinical experience was spent helping people recovering from eating disorders reconnect to their bodies and their self-worth, and helping people who were working through suicidal thoughts renew their hope and self-worth in the behavioral psych emergency department. But that wasn’t all!
I took my first pole dancing class in 2012 at Aradia Fitness. I remember how excited I was when I went to my first pole dance class by myself! Connecting to this part of my sensuality was dirty and wrong, at least that’s what I grew up hearing and believed as a child. Yet I knew that it was a part of my sensuality, and I wanted to break up with the guilt and shame I associated with it. Little did I know that I found a safe space for me to explore it, and come to place where I feel joy and free with all aspects of my sensuality. It was truly love at first fireman spin as I strutted, rolled my hips, and whipped my hair. I loved it so much that I became an Aradia Fitness instructor in October 2015 and a licensed Liquid Motion instructor in February 2017. Teaching pole dance and sensual movement is my jam!
These experiences developed my sensuality & mindset expertise and now I can use those experiences (plus my gifts!) to support women in business to reconnect to their sensuality, ditch the old stories their inner mean girl tells them, and have renewed confidence and faith in themselves so that they can reconnect to their body and have the sexy paydays, romance, and travel them desire. It’s a journey and I’m lit up that this is the work I get to do!

You are made to experience pleasure and freedom in your sensuality. All the answers are in your body (yoni included). That’s good news! It means you have everything you need to reconnect and tune into your body. It’s just a matter of getting out of your head to uncover the sensual, woman CEO that you are. If sensuality feels unsafe or dirty to you, I want you to know that you’re not alone. My clients have felt that way too. Here’s what a few women have said about working with me.
“I love working with Natasha because of her serving heart, her ability to give a kick-in-the-rear when I need it most, and her way of bringing out the things I want to do and walking with me as I do them.” – Kayse Renfro, www.kayseblair.co
“Natasha has a way of turning my current mindset into a new mindset in a natural, inspiring way. I am still not sure how she understood me so well!” – Charlene Lietz, http://smartysavvy.info
